In my last post, I meant to say Spring break is now over. not spring. SPRING HAS JUST BEGAN! YAY!

Almost there....

Spring is now over. Nothing exciting took place, other than the Saturday before it ended when we took a trip to DC, that was fun, but very tiring. I can't believe that April is almost here. Time goes by SO fast! I like it when weekdays and work and classes go by fast, but sometimes they go by too fast and I get overwhelmed because I have an incredible amount of work to get done and it just seems like not enough time to finish it. At the same time, weekends also go by way too fast. I wish they would slow down! May will be here soon.... end of the semester! YAY! Then the monday after graduation, I start my first summer intensive. Not much of a break. I still don't know what I'm going to be doing this summer. I don't know what to expect with my intensives and other summer classes (4 in all) and don't know how "intense" they will be, since I've never taken one before, and don't know what to expect. Could be an interesting summer. I need to focus on the present right now though, not the future.

Rob and I are going to lunch today! I'm excited. He'll be here any minute. I don't really have much else to say for now. I haven't slept much lately, so my mind is kinda blah right now. Oh well.

Math

So, while working on my math today, I looked up this function in my calculator manual that pretty much does all the work for me in the problems we are studying right now! It's amazing! I totally feel like I completely beat the system! Love it!

The Joys of Being Newly-Weds

I finished my biology class yesterday! I think I'm getting a B, which is a huge relief! I really don't want my only C to be in a 101 class.

So, we've been hit with some unexpected expenses that have made life a little tougher than normal, like a $600 car repair bill, and a loan payment now become due each month. We've been doing little thing to save money here and there, and one thing that we hadn't gotten in a while was toilet paper... not really to save money, we just didn't go shopping for it and kept putting it off. So we've been improvising using napkins, no big deal.... until the other day I was at work, and had to use the bathroom and got super excited because I got to use real toilet paper! Then I realized that I now truly know what being a newly-wed really means! We went out that night after work and bought some toilet paper!

This weekend was a lot of fun. I had some friends from my hall last year over all day Saturday, which was a great time. Then Sunday I spent most of the afternoon working on finishing up biology, and then did some housework. Rob and I spent some good time together, it was fun. He makes me laugh so much! He is an amazing husband!

Ok, well my adventure for today is to tackle my math class. I have a huge quiz this Wednesday before Spring Break, and I really have no idea what is going on in that class. I don't know why I thought that I could handle stats. Math is definitely not my thing! Off to math.... blah!

Exploring

Ok, so I'm just playing around with this thing... Now I know how to add pics! Good deal. On to bio!

Summer Classes

Ah! I'm registering for summer classes. I am going to get zero summer break! I have a 3 week intensive that starts the Monday after graduation, then have another 3 week intensive in July. I'm also taking 2 DLp classes, one that goes throughout all May until the middle of July, then one that goes throughout all July and ends the week before classes start up again. They overlap for about 2 weeks. Great.... blah. But it will be worth it. What else do I have to do stuck here in Lynchburg all summer? I think I need to make some good friends that live here full time.... I don't know anyone like that, but it is a good idea anyways.

Anyways... I am dedicating today and rest of the week to my biology class. It's killing me and this is the last week of it so I have to finish strong because I haven't had any other strong moments in this class. Some things just don't make sense. I can easily get high A's in all my 300 and 400 level classes right now, but in Bio 101 I might get my first C ever in college..... and I've worked my butt off in this class, and am still doing poorly. It's frusterating. Oh well.

Start Up!

Ok, so we got this idea from Rachel and James (then stole it). Good way to keep people informed on what's going on. Also, it will help us to remember things that have passed cuz everything is going by so fast! I have a xanga blog, but am getting rid of it because I never use it, besides xanga is for teens, and I'm married now so I have to act like an adult (ha!) and get an adult blog. Plus I want Rob to have part in it too. He's better with words than I am anyways. I like keeping records of what's going on when. I think it's interesting to look back over things that have taken place over the years and definitely don't want to forget any tiny thing of the beginning of our new family!

So yeah, the name, R&B Hits, I suggested it totally joking, but then Rob and Lisa talked me into keeping it! Corny I know (sorry), but it fits! So I guess it's a keeper...

Life is crazy and going by fast! Schoolwork is never ending, but that is normal. (I can't even imagine life without homework.) Regardless of the insanities of life, everything is amazing and just sits still whenever I'm sitting in the middle of the poof, with my mink blanket, next to my amazing husband in our own apartment! Life is good! :)
